A Shout out to My Cool As* Nieces!
My nieces, Fly Girl and Mellow Yellow came by to visit today. We had a good time, just hangin' out in my living room, eating, joking around and our favorite--talking about their momma behind her back (smile Sister I see ya lookin cockeyed at me). Moments like this make me all melancholy after its over because I begin missing my mommy and daddy most in those moments (sigh).
Fly Girl is leaving in the morning on a flight to Baltimore to begin her summer intern. She is sooooo excited and so am I. You would think I am going to get on the damn plane with her in the morning (I wish I could, truth be told). Mellow will be here dippin' in and out for food and an occasional place to sleep until she leaves us next year to go live in Europe for a while.
They are both in college- Mellow is the senior and Fly is the Sophomore. Mellow is the sophisticated world traveler who changed her major to International Studies so she could "back pack" through London and get credit. Fly is the super ambitious pageant babe. Both excellent students. Both beautiful young women. I'm so proud of them. Here's to my beautiful wonderful talented nieces.

She is going on to bigger and better things in Kindergarten! She is such a camera hawk!
Dance Off Heaven
I'm in dance off heaven...America's Best Dance Crew is back baby! I luvs a good dance off! Whoever created this show is genius- a whole hour of fierce dance offs! Love it. Just got through watching an episode. You betta git you somma dis!
