I took BabyGirl and BabyBoy (my love
ly children) to the grand opening of Sanaa Art Gallery. If you live in or near you should get there now! BabyBoy did not want to leave. He enjoyed viewing the art and meeting the artists so much he really did not want to leave. Black art is such a wonderful thing. Here are some of the pictures BabyBoy took of some of his favorite pieces. He was networking all over the place.
I was so proud of him. He's never been the shy type though. When he found out some of the artist were there, he would go right up to them with his 13 year old self and intr
oduce himself, "Hi, I really like your work...I draw too...." He even got to be a part of a group picture with many of the artist there. He was getting professional pointers and encouragement from all the artist he meet.He has a talent for drawing but he doesn't or didn't take his talent as serious as I have until maybe tonight (and seeing those $3000, $4000, and $5000 price tags on the pieces for sale, didn't hurt either).
The picture up top is a group photo of "the men"...featured and aspiring artists (one of which is my 13 year old). On the left and right are works created by Shambe
